Abstract
Direct solvent exfoliation of bulk MoS2 with the assistance of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) produces a novel two-dimensional organic/inorganic semiconductor hetero-junction. The obtained P3HT-MoS2 nanohybrid exhibits unexpected optical limiting properties in contrast to the saturated absorption behavior of both P3HT and MoS2 , showing potential in future photoelectric applications

Abstract
Although there is a common view that the impact of Covid-19 should be similar among stock markets globally, empirical examinations of this issue are lacking. This study investigates the impacts of Covid-19 on the stock markets of countries in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) between September 2019 to July 2020. The findings of conventional t-test and non-parametric Mann-Whitney tests suggest that Covid-19 had a negative short-term impact on stock markets in GCC. This study also found that the stock markets of GCC countries are comparatively less impacted as compared to the effects suffered by the global stock markets. Passive steel dampers have shown favorable performance in last earthquakes, numerical and experimental studies. Although steel dampers are more affordable than other types of damper, they are not economically justified for ordinary buildings. We analyse optimal pricing for a retailer that sells two products using a mixed price bundling strategy. We consider substitutable products, where there is a disutility associated with jointly consuming both products. Mixed price bundling implies that customers can freely choose to buy one of the two products, both of them, or neither of them. The retailer determines the price of each product when it is sold separately, the bundle discount if these two products are sold in a bundle, and the inventory levels for each product. In this paper, the effect of joint separation on the shear behavior of planar non-persistent joints under high normal load has been investigated using PFC2D. Initially calibration of PFC was undertaken with respect to the data obtained from experimental laboratory tests to ensure the conformity of the simulated numerical models response. We study the capacity region of the two-user binary fading (or erasure) interference channel, where the transmitters have no knowledge of the channel state information. We develop new inner bounds and outer bounds for this problem. We identify three regimes based on the channel parameters: weak, moderate, and strong interference regimes. Interestingly, this is similar to the generalized degrees of freedom of the two-user Gaussian interference channel, where transmitters have perfect channel knowledge. Osteocalcin is the most abundant noncollagenous bone protein and the functions in bone remineralization as well as in inhibition of bone growth have remained unclear. In this contribution, we explain the dual role of osteocalcin in the nucleation of new calcium phosphate during bone remodeling and in the inhibition of hydroxyapatite crystal growth at the molecular scale.
