    Abstract
    This brief proposes a joint graph signal recovery and topology learning algorithm using a Variational Bayes (VB) framework in the case of non-Gaussian measurement noise. It is assumed that the graph signal is Gaussian Markov Random Field (GMRF) and the graph weights are considered statistical with the Gaussian prior. Moreover, the non-Gaussian noise is modeled using two distributions: Mixture of Gaussian (MoG), and Laplace. All the unknowns of the problem which are graph signal, Laplacian matrix, and the (Hyper)parameters are estimated by a VB framework.     To meet stringent emission standards stipulated by regulatory agencies, the oil industry is required to bring down the sulfur content in fuels. Oil supplies 38% of the worldwide energy, and as the light oil is limited and meanwhile the energy demand is increasing, it is a must to use heavy crude oil and therefore desulfurize it to meet environmental standards. As it is not feasible to desulfurize all the sulfur containing compounds of heavy crude oil by the existing methods (such as hydro-desulfurization) we have focused on biodesulfurization of heavy crude oil.     Abstract
    In this paper, the necessary similarity conditions, or scaling laws, for free vibrations of orthogonally stiffened cylindrical shells are developed using similitude theory. The Donnelltype nonlinear strain-displacement relations along with smearing theory are used to model the structure. Then the principle of virtual work is used to analyze the free vibration of the stiffened shell. After nondimensionalizing the derived formulations, the scaling laws are developed, using similitude theory. Then, different examples are solved to validate the scaling laws numerically and experimentally. The obtained results show the effectiveness of the derived formulations

    In this paper, the graph signal recovery problem is addressed by employing an aggregation of samples in the vertex domain and the Fourier graph transform domain. The statistical graph signal is modeled using a Gaussian Markov Random Field (GMRF). The reconstruction process involves employing a variational Bayes (VB) algorithm, which is a fully Bayesian method that iteratively estimates all unknown parameters by computing the posteriors in a closed-form. Since, in many real world manufacturing systems, the production of goods comprises several autocorrelated stages; in this paper, the problem of the change point estimation for such processes is addressed.     Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were synthesized in aqueous solutions containing FeCl2, FeCl3, FeSO4 and Fe2(SO4)3. The effects of iron charge and the counter ions on the formation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were investigated. Thermogravimetric (TG) analysis indicated that carbon multilayer structures including CNTs and multishell graphite particles were formed in deionized (DI) water without the iron precursor. SWCNTs were also synthesized in the presence of the iron ions. Hardness measurements, polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests were employed to investigate the mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of these coatings.
