  5. This paper presents the design and development of a novel tennis ball shooting robot, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of tennis training. Leveraging advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence, this system offers precise control over ball speed, trajectory, and positioning, simulating various match scenarios. The robot utilises a dual-degree-of-freedom system with a rotating disc launcher, capable of adjusting to different player skill levels. By integrating advanced control mechanisms and future potential for AI-driven vision systems, the robot provides a customizable and effective training solution. © 2024 IEEE
