- Mind uploading is a detailed scan of a person's brain (neurons, synapses, etc.) and transferring it to a non-biological infrastructure (for example, silicon). In this way, our mind continues to live in a virtual space. Examining the philosophical questions under this topic makes it possible to judge the possibility of doing it. Questions such as if we consider the mind and cognition as an information processor (computational view of the mind), will it be possible to transfer it to a silicon infrastructure? Will I survive moving my mental infrastructure from a bio-based to a silicon-based one? Is it possible to create a functional isomorph of the mind? But most of the view of the present text is directed to the three questions that are raised in the following: Does the uploaded mind have thinking and cognition in its human meaning or not? Is the personal identity really preserved in the transition from a biological platform to a non-biological platform (virtual space)? And does the entity implemented in the hardware have consciousness? In each chapter of the present text, at the beginning, the mentioned three concepts, which are fundamental philosophical issues, are explained, and then the possibility of uploading in each of these three topics is tried to be investigated. In the end, by summarizing the topics related to uploading under the three mentioned topics, we will reach a better judgment about the possibility of doing it
