- Today, for construction of UAV, designers are interested in and trying for substitution of composite material instead of metal. They would rather use composite structures due to lower costs of construction, availability, along with high ratio of strength to weight of this material, while metal structures are mainly rare and too expensive for construction of UAV. For instance, unavailability of aluminum metal and complicated methods of construction of aluminum wings with using of special tools, justifies using of composite with easier construction, abundant, and cheaper materials. The main goal of this project is redesign of aluminum wing of a jet engine UAV, In fact, by doing some structural changes and redesign of present metal made wing and body UAV, it will change to composite wing. For this purpose, redesign will be done in a way that weight of new composite wing not exceeds than the metal former one; and junction points of wing to body to be as the same of original UAV.Essentially, the basic difference of UAV, with a model plane to be defined in their duty and consignment. The designed UAV with jet engine will be able to do its duty (as a target) at best, and it will be recycled by using special tools and equipments, in necessary case. At first, in this project necessary information such as geometry profiles, loading, designing commitments (duty) and other necessary information for analysis and structure design of wing is extracted. In continuance, along with recognition and extraction of related structural standards, loading curves for the wing will be drawn. Then, with modeling and doing various types of analysis for present metal wing, tension levels, and authorized location changes (already considered),of the wing will be recognized. At the follow, on the strength of loading and obtained results, the composite wing will be analyzed and designed. Designing of composite wing includes design of composite layers (number, kind and thickness of layers); and also recognition of structural arrangement of the wing. After the design of composite cast and internal configuration of the wing, designing and regional analysis of the junctions will be done for all cases
