- The current thesis argues about employee Performance Appraisal System (PAS) of damavand project which is one of the MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plant Construction and Development Co (MD-2) projects.A few studies have been done in the field of human resource management in project structure and project-based organizations in comparison with classic organizations structure. the PAS might have a different role in project structure as a function in human resource management.In this research the required data has collected via interview with employees and some top managers of MD-2 Company.and Theme analysis has been used to analyzing the data. this study has described the effect of organizational, project and job factors on employee performance appraisal system of damavand project.The results shows that the culture, organization strategies and employees job description have the most important effect on performance appraisal criteria. In addition it seems the factors like time, quality, cost, team work and interaction with stakeholders specially outsourced are significant in project context. Furthermore, the organization structure and staff unit and project relation have vital role in selecting appraisal resources. Moreover, in project structure time influences the procedure and process of appraisal. In addition the study presents a framework of effective factors on employee performance appraisal system. Some of These factors are human resource functions/project substructures (work breakdown structure/ follow up the objectives), expected function of PAS and managing style. Finally some advices are given about damavand project employee performance appraisal system based on the research outcome
