    Real-Time Processing of Electrical Impedance Tomography Signals Using DSP

    Abstract
    Block Method approach solving Forward Problem in Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) results exact solution if the measurements are done with enough accuracy. Solving Forward problem with this method brings complexity to required calculations and sufficient speed is needed to extract required data in minimum time. In this thesis, 3D model of EIT with Block Method is implemented by means of Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to obtain maximum speed. Program code is written both in MATLAB and Code Composer Studio in efficient way to decrease clock cycles of CPU. Moreover, some part of algorithm is modified and the desired speed is obtained.     Using a combined hydrothermal and sol–gel route, TiO2-capped ZnO nanoparticles with an average size of 60 nm were prepared. The titania shell was amorphous with a thickness of ~10 nm. Formation of Zn2TiO4 phase at higher calcination temperature was noticed. Effects of Ti/Zn molar ratio and coating time on the thickness of TiO2 shell and the photoactivity of the particles for decolorization of Methylene Blue (MB) under UV lamp irradiation (3 mW/cm2) were investigated.     This paper introduces a novel coding scheme based on the diffusion map framework. The idea is to run a t-step random walk on the data graph to capture the similarity of a data point to the codebook atoms. By doing this we exploit local similarities extracted from the data structure to obtain a global similarity which takes into account the nonlinear structure of the data. Unlike the locality-based and sparse coding methods, the proposed coding varies smoothly with respect to the underlying manifold.     This paper aims at investigating the resonance frequencies and stability of a long Graphene Nano-Ribbon (GNR) carrying electric current. The governing equation of motion is obtained based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam model along with Hamilton's principle. The transverse force distribution on the GNR due to the interaction of the electric current with its own magnetic field is determined by the Biot-Savart and Lorentz force laws.     This paper aims at investigating the interaction of two flexible permanent magnet beams facing each other. The governing equations of motion are obtained based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam model along with Hamiltons principle. Assuming that the beams tips are far enough, each magnet beam is considered as a series of dipole segments and the external force and moment distributions over each beam due to the magnetic field of the other one is calculated in the deformed configuration.     This paper deals with the flexural instability of flexible spinning cylinders partially filled with viscous fluid. Using the linearized Navier-Stokes equations for the incompressible flow, a two-dimensional model is developed for fluid motion.
