To study the mechanism of tsunami wave forces on round-ended piers and the force calculation method, a series of round-ended piers with different ratios of length to width (L/D, D is the diameter of the semicircle at both ends, L is the rectangular length between two end semicircles) are taken as the research object of this study. The Cr/Al2O3 catalyst, a prevalent system in commercial applications, plays a significant role in propane dehydrogenation (PDH). Notable improvements in this catalyst's efficiency are essential for its continued use. In order to examine the effect of alkaline earth metals on the catalyst performances in the propane dehydrogenation reaction, a series of Cr/η-Al2O3 were synthesized by the impregnation method. The simple-shear condition is closer to reality than the direct-shear condition for simulating the mechanical behavior of vegetated soil slope under shallow failure. In this paper, we study the resource allocation and scheduling problem for a downlink non- orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network where the base station (BS) allocates the spectrum resources and power to the set of users. We aim to optimize the sub-channel assignment and power allocation to achieve a balance between the number of scheduled users and total sum-rate maximization. To solve the above problem, we propose a many-to-many two-sided user-subchannel matching algorithm in which the set of users and sub-channels are considered as two sets of players pursuing their own interests. Anisotropic permeability of bentonite mixtures governs water flow regime in buffer materials such as landfill cover systems, cutoff walls, and high-level waste repositories. In this paper, the resource allocation and scheduling problem for a full-duplex (FD) orthogonal frequency-division multiple-access network is studied where an FD base station simultaneously communicates with multiple pairs of uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) half-duplex (HD) users bidirectionally. In this paper, we aim to maximize the network sum-rate through joint UL and DL user pairing, OFDM subchannel assignment, and power allocation. Under experimental conditions in which the self-association of the adenine phosphates (AP), that is, of adenosine 5′-monophosphate (AMP2-) and adenosine 5′-diphosphate (ADP3-), is negligible, potentiometric pH titrations were carried out to determine the stabilities of the M(H;AP) and M(AP) complexes where M2+=Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, or Cd2+ (25°C; I = 0.1m, NaNO3). The effect of milling time on the magnetic properties of FINEMET amorphous ribbons has been investigated using X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, thermo-magnetic measurements, transmission electron microscopy and SQUID magnetometery. Ribbons were melt-spun at a wheel speed of 38 ms-1 and then mechanically milled for different periods up to 45 min. The results showed that the partially crystallization of the amorphous powder occurs during milling. Abstract
The effect of quenching wheel speed on the structure and Curie temperature of Fe73.5Si13.5B9Nb3Cu1 alloy has been investigated using X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, transition electron microscopy and a SQUID magnetometer. Ribbons were melt-spun at different wheel speeds and then were annealed to nucleate nano crystals embedded in the amorphous matrix. The results indicated that the thickness of the ribbons was inversely proportional to the wheel speed following the power law of the type t ∝ Vs -1.231. As a continuous fluidic structure, this cavity should exhibit pressure changes that propagate quickly. This paper presents an investigation of the effects of tool rake angle and nose radius on the surface quality of ultraprecision diamond-turned porous silicon. The results showed that as rake angle decreases, the high-stress field induced by the tool edge increases, causing microcracks to propagate extensively near the pore walls. As a result, the ductile-machined areas shrank under a negative tool rake angle. On the other hand, brittle fracture occurred around pores released cutting pressure significantly.
