    Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) is a convenient approach to synthesis of polymer with narrow molecular weight distribution. ATRP of acrylamide (AAm) is taken into consideration because of the intrinsic properties of acrylamide such as water solubility and biocompatibility. As reported in many recent works, polymerization of acrylamide by this method didn’t provide monomodal molecular weight distributions.     In an operational IFM receiver, there is usually a limiting amplifier in front of the power divider, delay line, and phase correlator. The limiting amplifier can improve the sensitivity of the receiver by providing RF gain to process weak input signals. In general, a signal must reach the limiting level in order to be processed by the receiver. It is important to notice that a limiting amplifier can be used only at the input of an IFM receiver.     In the present research, the efficiency of the methanol to aromatics process was improved by metal doping of alkali leached ZSM-5 catalyst in the presence of ultrasound radiation. The influence of different ultrasound powers together with metal impregnation (conventional and/or by ultrasound-assisted) methods on the physicochemical properties and catalytic performance were investigated.     This paper addresses a model-based audio content analysis for classification of speech-music mixed audio signals into speech and music. A set of new features is presented and evaluated based on sinusoidal modeling of audio signals.     In this paper, a new feature set is presented and evaluated based on sinusoidal modeling of audio signals. Duration of the longest sinusoidal model frequency track, as a measure of the harmony, is used and compared to typical features as input into an audio classifier. The performance of this sinusoidal model feature is evaluated through classification of audio to speech and music using both the GMM and the SVM classifiers.     In this paper, the design of an efficient sparse array, used to reconstruct the image from millimeter-wave signals, is presented. The proposed array takes advantage of the sparsity concept of the image in the spatial Fourier domain to reduce the number of array elements such that the beam pattern of the designed array meets the desired beamwidth and sidelobe level. Simulation and measured results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed design on high-quality reconstruction of the image, while 85% reduction in the number of elements is achieved as well as the reduction in scan time and system complexity
