    Optimal Scheduling in Wirelessly-powered Communication Networks

    Abstract
    In this thesis, we study optimal scheduling in a multi-hop wirelessly-powered network. We propose an online control policy for energy transfer from the energy access point to the wireless nodes and for data transfer among the nodes. With our proposed control policy, all data queues of the nodes are stable, while the average energy consumption of the network is shown to be within a bounded gap of the minimum energy required for stabilizing the network. Our proposed policy is designed using a quadratic Lyapunov function to capture the limitations on the energy consumption of the nodes imposed by their bachery levels.     In a wireless powered communication network, an energy access point (EAP) supplies the energy needs of the network nodes through radio frequency wave transmission, and the nodes store the received energy in their batteries for their future data transmission.     In this paper, we study the throughput utility functions in buffer-equipped monostatic backscatter communication networks with multi-antenna Readers. In the considered model, the backscatter nodes (BNs) store the data in their buffers before transmission to the Reader.     In this paper, a simple memory limited transmitter for molecular communication is proposed, in which information is encoded in the diffusion rate of the molecules. Taking advantage of memory, the proposed transmitter reduces the ISI problem by properly adjusting its diffusion rate.     In this paper, we propose efficient wireless power transfer (WPT) policies for various practical scenarios in wirelessly powered communication networks (WPCNs). First, we consider WPT from an energy access point (E-AP) to multiple energy receivers (E-Rs).     Abstract
    The correlation between religious adherence and voter turnout is widely studied. However, whether the relation is causal is an open question. We use Household Expenditures and Income Survey (HEIS) data in Iran, which encompasses nine distinct religious expenditures. These expenditures have low correlation with each other and represent different aspects of religious adherence. We use Imamzadeh (some historical holy shrines) as Instruments to estimate the causal effect of religious expenditures on voter turnout. The results reveal that religious expenditures influence both presidential and parliamentary voter turnout, with a notably stronger impact on presidential elections

Column output composition obtained with experimental binary coefficients is compared with those obtainded by UNIFAC equation. The results indicate that using UNIFAC for all binrary coefficients results in an unacceptable error in concentration of benzene.
