Abstract
Structures with inappropriate distributions of strength and stiffness have performed poorly in recent earthquakes, and most of the observed collapses have been related to some extent to configuration problems or a wrong conceptual design. Shear building models of multi-story structures are considered in this study and are subjected to a group of severe earthquakes. It is shown that the strength distribution patterns suggested by the seismic codes do not lead to a uniform distribution and minimum amount of ductility, drift, and damage. Abstract
The Sonogashira reaction using nickel ferrite nanoparticles as catalyst and under copper-free conditions was investigated in water as a green solvent. Various types of aryl and alkyl halides were successfully coupled with phenyl acetylene under the optimized reaction conditions with very good to excellent yields at a short time. The catalyst is easily recoverable and can be reused for several runs with a good turnover number

Abstract
This work reports the improved procedure for the preparation of bis(indolyl)methanes from the corresponding aldehydes and indole. Anhydrous copper(II) sulfate efficiently promotes the chemoselective synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes via electrophilic substitution reactions of indole with aldehydes. The reaction was carried out in refluxing dichloromethane or microwave-assisted solvent-free conditions. The adducts were produced in good to excellent yields

Abstract
Blur identification is one important part of image restoration process. Linear motion blur is one of the most common degradation functions that corrupts images. Since 1976, many researchers tried to estimate motion blur parameters and this problem is solved in noise free images but in noisy images improvement can be done when image SNR is low. In this paper we have proposed a method to estimate motion blur parameters such as direction and length using Radon transform and Feed-Forward back propagation neural network for noisy images. We report a simple, fast, efficient and benign procedure for solvent-free microwave-assisted one-pot synthesis of symmetrical 4H-pyran-4-ones in the presence of polyphosphoric acid or diphosphorous pentoxide. Abstract
Given a non-commutative finite dimensional F-central division algebra D, we study conditions under which every non-abelian maximal subgroup M of GL n(D) contains a non-cyclic free subgroup. In general, it is shown that either M contains a non-cyclic free subgroup or there exists a unique maximal subfield K of Mn(D) such that NGLn<(D) (K*)=M, K* M, K/F is Galois with Gal(K/F) ≅ M/K*, and F[M]=Mn(D). In particular, when F is global or local, it is proved that if ([D:F],Char(F))=1, then every non-abelian maximal subgroup of GL 1(D) contains a non-cyclic free subgroup. Furthermore, it is also shown that GLn(F) contains no solvable maximal subgroups provided that F is local or global and n ≥ 5. ©...

Abstract
Let D be an F-central non-commutative division ring. Here, it is proved that if GL n(D) contains a non-abelian soluble maximal subgroup, then n = 1, [D : F] < ∞, and D is cyclic of degree p, a prime. Furthermore, a classification of soluble maximal subgroups of GL n(F) for an algebraically closed or real closed field F is also presented. Abstract
In this study nickel ferrite magnetic nanoparticles were applied as an efficient and reusable catalyst in the four-component synthesis of substituted pyrroles under neat conditions. The reaction was conducted using various amounts of catalyst at different temperatures and finally, application of 5 mol% of catalyst at 100 °C was determined as the optimum reaction condition. Results showed that nickel ferrite nanoparticles could catalyze the reaction at relatively short times (3-4 h) with high to excellent yields (70-96%). The catalyst could be recovered easily using an external magnetic field and reused nine times without any significant activity lost

Organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskite materials have been most attractive for wide range of optoelectronic applications. Investigating the photo-response in these devices will be very useful to understanding cell performance in different conditions and applications. For understanding non-linearity photo-response we use the Bathocuproine (BCP) as blocking layer in two interfaces of inverted perovskite solar cell (FTO/NiO/BCP/Perovskite/PCBM/Au and FTO/NiO/Perovskite/PCBM/BCP/Au). In this paper a new least mean square (LMS) based adaptive weighting algorithm is proposed. It is appropriate for antenna array systems with moving targets and mobile applications. The essential goal of this algorithm is to reduce the complexity of weighting process and to decrease the time needed for adjusting the antenna radiation pattern. Reducing the computational complexity as well as convergence time is the main task of adaptive antenna array processing. This article proposes an improved algorithm for estimating the weights of adaptive array elements based on Constant Modulus Algorithm (CMA). Herein, we demonstrate a facile low temperature approach to prepare a gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based on the triiodide/iodide redox couple in a quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). Only one polymeric agent (i.e., hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC)) is used for the preparation of a non-volatile GPE system for the standard liquid electrolyte containing 1-methyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide (MPII). The prepared GPE completely penetrates into a TiO2 photoanode at room temperature due to the uniform distribution of Ti, Ru and I elements in the cross-section of the electrode, forming an interpenetrating GPE/TiO2 network to access all dye molecules. Gold nanoparticles supported on poly ionic-liquid magnetic nanoparticles (MNP@PIL@Au) were synthesized by reduction of HAuCl4 with sodium borohydride. The synthesized catalyst was characterized using by AAS, TEM, FT-IR, EDS, TGA and XRD techniques. The performance of the synthesized catalyst was investigated in the reduction of nitroarenes with NaBH4. Abstract
A new heterogeneous copper catalyst was synthesized by immobilization of copper ions onto magnetic nanoparticles with a new ligand based on triazole. The catalyst was characterized using scanning and transmission electron microscopies, atomic absorption and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies, and thermogravimetric, elemental and energy-dispersive X-ray analyses. We introduce a new robust simulation optimization method in which the probability of occurrence of uncertain parameters is considered. It is assumed that the probability distributions are unknown but historical data are on hand and using φ-divergence functionality the uncertainty region for the uncertain probability vector is defined. We propose two approaches to formulate the robust counterpart problem for the objective function estimated by Kriging. Abstract
In this article, a new algorithm for rather expensive simulation problems is presented, which consists of two phases. In the first phase, as a model-based algorithm, the simulation output is used directly in the optimization stage. In the second phase, the simulation model is replaced by a valid metamodel. In addition, a new optimization algorithm is presented. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, it is applied to the (s,S) inventory problem as well as to five test functions. Numerical results show that the proposed algorithm leads to better solutions with less computational time than the corresponding metamodel-based algorithm. © 2017 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC

Abstract
This study describes an odorless protocol for the synthesis of unsymmetrical sulfides via cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of nitroarenes with alkyl halides in the presence of thiourea as sulfur source under ligand-free conditions. The catalyst was recycled using external magnetic field and reused for ten consecutive runs in the reaction of nitrobenzene, thiourea and benzyl bromide without significant loss of activity. Apart from being magnetically separable, being inexpensive and air-stable are another important features of this catalytic system. All the products were formed in good yields and short reaction times. © 2017 Elsevier B.V
