Abstract
An algorithm has been developed to investigate the effect of asphaltene precipitation on calculation of minimum miscibility pressure (MMP), which is one of the key design parameters of any gas injection projects. In fact, this algorithm is the extension of procedure suggested by Jaubert et al. for prediction of MMP whatever the displacement mechanism. The vapor-liquid equilibrium calculation and then liquid-liquid equilibrium calculation are required to be taken account to estimate the amount of asphaltene precipitation. Abstract
Indoor communication systems operating at millimeter wave frequencies are getting increasing attention due to their ability of having wider bandwidth and as a result conveying information at higher bit rates. At these systems, the capacity of channel is very important especially where there is no line of sight due to an obstacle. Here we examine the use of a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system in a 2D room with an obstacle at 60 GHz. We estimate the channel by using the closed-form Green's function of the room and show the ability of MIMO to increase the available capacity of the system in the room chiefly behind the obstacle. © 2016 IEEE

Abstract
In this paper, the problem of routing, modulation level, core, and spectrum assignment (RMCSA) in space-division-multiplexed elastic optical networks (SDM-EONs) is studied. We formulate this problem as a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP), in which dedicated and shared path protection schemes are supported in SDM-EONs with multi-core fibers (MCFs) and the inter-core crosstalk of MCFs is strictly modeled. Furthermore, an efficient heuristic algorithm is proposed to solve the RMCSA problem in a large scale scenario. In this paper, we present new adaptive linear discriminant analysis (LDA) algorithm and apply them for adaptive facial feature extraction. Adaptive nature of the proposed algorithm is advantageous for real world applications in which one confronts with a sequence of data such as online face recognition and mobile robotics. A series of novel pseudopeptides contained coumarin skeleton were synthesized through the Ugi-four-component reaction. The 3-substituted coumarin-3-carboxamides were formed through reaction of benzaldehyde derivatives, anilines, coumarin-3- carboxylic acid and isocyanides with high yields and high bond-forming efficiency at room temperature. We introduce a new robust simulation optimization method in which the probability of occurrence of uncertain parameters is considered. It is assumed that the probability distributions are unknown but historical data are on hand and using φ-divergence functionality the uncertainty region for the uncertain probability vector is defined. Abstract
In this article, a new algorithm for rather expensive simulation problems is presented, which consists of two phases. In the first phase, as a model-based algorithm, the simulation output is used directly in the optimization stage. In the second phase, the simulation model is replaced by a valid metamodel. In addition, a new optimization algorithm is presented. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, it is applied to the (s,S) inventory problem as well as to five test functions. Numerical results show that the proposed algorithm leads to better solutions with less computational time than the corresponding metamodel-based algorithm. © 2017 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC
