This paper introduces a groundbreaking classification model called the Controllable Ensemble Transformer and CNN (CETC) for the analysis of medical images. The CETC model combines the powerful capabilities of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformers to effectively capture both high and low frequency features present in medical images. In this thesis the calculated dose by corePLAN treatment planning software is compared with the calculated dose from combining BEAMnrc and DOSXYZnrc Monte Carlo codes. First Varian Clinic 2100c/d linear accelerator was simulated and modeling parameters such as electron beam energy and its spatial distribution FWHM were tuned in order for PDD and dose profile curves to have an agreement with less than 2% error with the ion chamber dosimetry. Accumulation of amyloid beta (Aβ) soluble forms in the cerebral parenchyma is the mainstream concept underlying memory deficit in the early phase of Alzheimer's disease (AD). PKMζ plays a critical role in the maintenance of long-term memory. Yet, the role of this brain-specific enzyme has not been addressed in AD. We examined the impact of hippocampal PKMζ overexpression on AD-related memory impairment in rats. The insect circulatory system contains an open hemocoel, in which the mechanism of hemolymph flow control is ambiguous. As a continuous fluidic structure, this cavity should exhibit pressure changes that propagate quickly. Narrow-waisted insects create sustained pressure differences across segments, but their constricted waist provides an evident mechanism for compartmentalization. Insects with no obvious constrictions between segments may be capable of functionally compartmentalizing the body, which could explain complex hemolymph flows.
