    Abstract
    The preparation, characterization and catalytic application of a novel copper-loaded ionic liquid-based periodic mesoporous organosilica (Cu@PMO-IL) are described. The mesoporous structure of the Cu@PMO-IL material is characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis. The thermal stability of the material is also determined by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The presence of copper species in the material framework is confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and elemental analysis (EA).     In this study, quick route-coating is practiced to substitute methyl ammonium (MA) cation with formamidinium (FA) at different ratios. Through optimizing the MA:FA ratio, a maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8.31% is achieved for holes transporting material-free MA0.8FA0.2PbI3 mixed PSCs with the JSC of 19.02 mA/cm2, VOC of 0.859 V and FF of 50.88%. Then, to improve the performance, stability and carrier transport dynamic, various additives (PVA, PVP, PEG and EC) are incorporated into the perovskite layer.     Abstract
    This paper presents a decentralized adaptive control design for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems with unknown subsystems. When the subsystems are modeled by affine equations, a direct adaptive controller is devised based on the Lyapunov theory, so that the stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed by introducing a suitably driven adaptive rule. A neuro-based structure is proposed when the subsystems are nonaffine, and the stability analysis is also performed based on the Lyapunov theory.     This paper solves the problem of searching a surveillance region and tracking possible radio emitters by multiple unmanned aerial vehicles cooperating through communication links in a decentralized manner. An innovative entropy-based approach is utilized to obtain the routes and tasks (search/track) for the vehicles. Another significant contribution of this research is the assumption of each vehicle being equipped with only one simple and cost-effective direction finding (DF) sensor.     In this paper, the problem of cooperative search and tracking by multiple flying vehicles is studied. An algorithm is proposed based on optimal planning by minimizing a suitably defined cost function. In order to define the cost function, three maps are proposed: uncertainty map, detection probability map, and emitter map.     Abstract
    We show theoretically that unidirectional surface waves can propagate on the surface of homogeneous bi-anisotropic layers with an anti-symmetric chirality tensor. These materials mimic the electromagnetic behavior of an anisotropic medium with gyrotropic permittivity and permeability tensors that operate on pseudo-electromagnetic fields. The unidirectional waves have transverse pseudo-electric or magnetic polarizations and pass through an obstacle without backscattering if the obstacle does not cause polarization change. The bi-anisotropic medium can be realized as a metamaterial comprising omega particles tailored to achieve the constitutive parameters desired. © 2018 IEEE

    In this paper, we analyze a cylindrical waveguide consisting of two layers of bianisotropic material with anti-symmetric magnetoelectric coupling tensors. The analysis is carried out in terms of pseudo-electric and pseudo-magnetic fields which satisfy Maxwells' equations with gyrotropic permittivity and permeability tensors. We show that the rotationally symmetric modes of the waveguide are unidirectional with transverse pseudo-electric and transverse pseudo-magnetic modes propagating in opposite directions.     In this article, a method is proposed to extract the effective constitutive parameters of bianisotropic metamaterials using Bloch modes. We consider 3-D structures that are realized by stacking identical unit layers, where each unit layer is a 2-D periodic array of metallic or dielectric elements of arbitrary shape embedded in a background dielectric medium. Bianisotropic metamaterials do not satisfy the condition of reflection symmetry of unit layers considered in previous studies.     Accurate depth estimation from monocular images is critical for various applications such as robotics, augmented reality, and autonomous navigation. However, achieving high accuracy while maintaining computational efficiency is a major challenge, particularly for resource-constrained devices. In this paper, we present LightDepth, an approach that leverages curriculum learning to estimate depth efficiently while taking into account resource constraints.     Abstract
    The electrooculogram (EOG) artifact is one of the main contaminators of electroencephalographic recording (EEG). EOG can make serious problems in results and interpretations of EEG processing. Rejecting contaminated EEG segments result in an unacceptable data loss. Many methods were proposed to correct EOG artifact mainly based on regression and blind source separation (BSS). In this study, we proposed an automatic correction method based on maximum likelihood estimation.
