This research was conducted to identify the mechanisms of how authentic leadership behaviors influence employees' moral behaviors and suggest the processes of this influence. In order to obtain more valid results, a parallel mixed method was used. In that, we employed a qualitative method (data collection through semi-structured interviews) and a survey (distribution of questionnaires). This study deals with the problem of outlier censoring from the secondary data in a radar scenario, where the number of outliers is unknown. To this end, a procedure consisting of joint likelihood estimation and statistical model order selection (MOS) is proposed. Since the maximum likelihood (ML) estimation of the outlier subset requires to solve a combinatorial problem, an approximate ML (AML) method is employed to reduce the complexity. Surface electromyogram (sEMG) signals are extensively used for rehabilitation and control purposes. However due to their intrinsic complexities and intense sensor crosstalk, feature classification and pattern recognition of sEMG signals especially for motion analysis are quite challenging. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of followers’ perceptions of their leaders’ authentic leadership behaviors on how followers become motivated to develop moral intention. Design/methodology/approach: Using field survey data (n = 337), exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression, the authors suggest that perceived authentic leadership positively affects followers’ moral intent.
