Abstract
Enhancing the speech quality is the aim of noise reduction techniques. In order to have a desirable speech signal, it is necessary to eliminate the hearing fatigue and enhance the quality and intelligibility of speech signal. The present of additive noise causes the signal to degrade where the noise reduction techniques intend to remove the effect of noise on speech signals. However, removing the noise should not harm the speech signal when the signal is going to be heard. In this regard, Wiener filter can be used to promote the quality and intelligibility of the noisy signals. Single-channel speech dereverberation in acoustical environments

Abstract
Reverberated speech signals in acoustical environments produces some problems such as reducing speech intelligibility, distinguishing speakers, locating source, quality for hands-free telephony, hearing aid, etc. Adaptive filters can be applied to reduce the reverberation effects or to dereverberate the received speech signals at microphone. In this paper a dereverberation method is proposed by applying an inverse filter to the received speech signals. Different values of the Room Impulse Response are used in the dereverberation procedure and the results are compared. Abstract
This paper presents a combinational method of Wavelet Transform and Adaptive Filter to reduce distortion that has been caused by interference noise. The procedure makes use of a Wiener filtering to improve and enhance the quality of the speech signal. The proposed method is tested for a couple of noisy speech signals with different SNRs in the range of -5 dB to 15 dB. In this paper, we consider an integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system with wireless power transfer (WPT) where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based radar serves a group of energy-limited communication users in addition to its sensing functionality. Two gains play key roles in recently developed MIMO wireless communication systems: "spatial diversity" gain and "spatial multiplexing" gain. The diversity gain refers to the capability to decrease the error rate of the MIMO channel, while the multiplexing gain implicitly refers to the amount of increase in the capacity of the MIMO channel. Modified couple stress theory is a size-dependent theorem capturing the micro/nanoscale effects influencing the mechanical behaviors of the micro- and nanostructures. In this paper, it is applied to investigate the nonlinear vibration of carbon nanotubes under step DC voltage. The vibration, natural frequencies and dynamic pull-in characteristics of the carbon nanotubes are studied in detail. Moreover, the effects of various boundary conditions and geometries are scrutinized on the dynamic characteristics.
