In this paper, we investigate the simultaneous coordination of price and capacity building decision in a dyadic supply chain which is in the context of capacity reservation problem. While the coordination in this context with stochastic demand and fixed price has been received much attention in the literature, but the price-dependent and stochastic demand has been less considered. In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed to assess the flow distribution based on the traffic criterion. In the mathematical model, the resilience and stability criteria are developed based on the concepts of control engineering and optimal control. The results show that the route stability is dependent on the traffic parameter. An efficient hierarchical hybrid delivery (EHHD) model is proposed by integrating a location-allocation optimisation model with a dynamic data envelopment analysis (DEA) model in this paper. This work aims to design a sustainable two-echelon supply chain not only based on the widely used cost perspective, but also based on the efficient use and preservation of limited resources. Abstract
Solving the facility layout problems by graph theory consists of two stages. In the first stage, a planar graph that specifies desired adjacencies is obtained and in the second stage, a block layout is achieved from the planar graph. In this paper, we introduce face area as a new concept for constructing a block layout. Based on this idea, we present a new algorithm for constructing block layout from a maximal planar graph (MPG). Abstract
We develop an integrated vendor-buyer model for a two-stage supply chain. The vendor manufactures the product and delivers it in a number of equal-sized batches to the buyer. The items delivered are presented to the end customers in a display area. Demand is assumed to be positively dependent on the amount of items displayed. The objective is to maximize total supply chain profit. The numerical analysis shows that buyer-vendor coordination is more profitable in situations when demand is more stock dependent. It also shows that the effect of double marginalization provides a link between the non-coordinated and the coordinated case

The development and application of inventory models for deteriorating items is one of the main concerns of subject matter experts. The inventory models developed in this field have focused mainly on supply chains under the assumption of constant lead time. In this study, we develop an inventory model for a main class of deteriorating items, namely perishable products, under stochastic lead time assumption. Separating produced water is a key part of production processing for most crude oils. It is required for quality reasons, and to avoid unnecessary transportation costs and prevent pipework corrosion rates caused by soluble salts present in the water. A complicating factor is that water is often present in crude oil in the form of emulsions.
