    The problem of attitude determination (AD) has always been a challenging issue for space missions that is of importance either independently or for attitude control purposes. The problem of AD is generally focused from two aspects: measurement mechanisms (sensoring) and determination algorithms. From the former point of view, there exists a variety of measuring systems such as the Sun sensors, magnetometers, gyroscopes, star and horizon sensors that have been separately or collaboratively utilized for AD.     Human running can be stabilized in a wide range of speeds by automatically adjusting muscular properties of leg and torso. It is known that fast locomotion dynamics can be approximated by a spring loaded inverted pendulum (SLIP) system, in which leg is replaced by a single spring connecting body mass to ground.     This study focuses on developing an efficient material that integrates high adsorption performances of dye and antibiotics as well as effective oxidation activity of it. Herein, we report a facile method to synthesize polyresorcinol@CoFe2 O4 via a one-step hydrothermally route. The prepared composite possesses multifunctional performance for methylene blue (MB) and tetracycline (TC) removal with appropriate magnetic separation operation and significant removal ability with an adsorption capacity of 51.48 and 28.16 mg g–1, respectively.     Fire incidents are more prone to happen in tunnels characterized by varying curves, aspect ratios, and slopes, influenced by the geographical features of the land. To simulate diverse fire scenarios, a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics code utilizing curvilinear grids adapted to the tunnel's structure was employed.     Abstract
    We present a formulation for the nonlinear optical response in gapped graphene, where the low-energy single-particle spectrum is modeled by massive Dirac theory. As a representative example of the formulation presented here, we obtain a closed form formula for the third harmonic generation in gapped graphene. It turns out that the covariant form of the low-energy theory gives rise to peculiar logarithmic singularities in the nonlinear optical spectra. The universal functional dependence of the response function on dimensionless quantities indicates that the optical nonlinearity can be largely enhanced by tuning the gap to smaller values

    Within the block spin renormalization group, we give a very simple derivation of the exact phase boundaries of the XYZ spin chain. First, we identify the Ising order along ◯ or ŷ as attractive renormalization group fixed points of the Kitaev chain. Then, in a global phase space composed of the anisotropy λ of the XY interaction and the coupling Δ of the Δσzσz interaction, we find that the above fixed points remain attractive in the two-dimesional parameter space.
