    By continuously measuring blood pressure, we can prevent the irreversible effects of high blood pressure. With the traditional method of using a cuff, it is not possible to measure blood pressure continuously during the day, so for continuous monitoring of blood pressure, it is necessary to use a method without the need for a cuff. Based on previous studies, to estimate blood pressure, Photoplethysmogram and ECG signal features, or temporal and morphological features of Photoplethysmogram signal have been used. In methods that use ECG signals, signal recording is difficult, and methods that use both PPG and ECG signals are even more complex. Using only PPG signals also has its problems....

    In this study biological denitrification method by moving bed biofilm reactor is investigated. The main advantage of MBBR reactor is due to their capacity for high removal rates and low operational problems such as clogging. Two MBBRs in series with 3 liter volume each, were designed in experimental set up and used in this research.     Abstract
    Efficient mixing, typically characterised by chaotic advection, is hard to achieve in low Reynolds number conditions because of the linear nature of the Stokes equation that governs the motion. Here we show that low Reynolds number swimmers moving in quasi-periodic orbits can result in considerable stretching and folding of fluid elements. We accurately follow packets of tracers within the fluid domain and show that their trajectories become chaotic as the swimmer's trajectory densely fills its invariant torus. The mixing process is demonstrated in two dimensions using the Quadroar swimmer that autonomously propels and tumbles along quasi-periodic orbits with multi-loop turning trajectories....

It is well known that spinning disks rotate in the same direction of their initial spin until they stop.     In this study, different concentrations of ascorbic acid (50, 100 and 200 μg/mL) were added to the liquid phase of a calcium phosphate cement (CPC). The cements were immersed in simulated body fluid (SBF) for different intervals and physical, physicochemical and mechanical properties of them were evaluated. The release of added ascorbic acid from CPCs into the SBF solution was also studied. From the results, both setting time and injectability of CPC decreased by adding ascorbic acid, however the compressive strength was sharply increased before soaking in SBF solution.
