The combined effect of wedge angle and melting energy transfer on the tangent hyperbolic magnetohydrodynamics nanofluid flow across a permeable wedge is numerically evaluated. Electronic gadgets produce an excessive amount of heat while in operation, so tangent hyperbolic nanofluid (THNF) is frequently used to cool them. THNF has the potential to dissipate heat more efficiently, thereby lowering the possibility of excessive heat and malfunctioning components. Abstract
Ca-doped Ni–Mg–Mn spinel ferrites with compositions of Ni0·5Mg0·3Mn0.2CaxFe2-xO4 (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) were prepared via sol-gel auto-ignition technique. TGA/DTA, FTIR, XRD, FESEM, and VSM were employed to evaluate the thermal, spectral, structural, morphological, and magnetic features of Ca-doped Ni–Mg–Mn spinel ferrites. TGA/DTA curves show the weight loss in the sample. This weight loss was attributed to the oxidation and decomposition of the sample contents at a temperature of 500 °C. Abstract
Recent studies confirm the ability of graphene oxides (GO) for the improvement of cementitious-based soil material properties. The current study aimed to explore the influence of GO and cement on the spectroscopic, thermal, structural, and strength of soil experimentally. The spectroscopic analysis studied by FTIR showed the presence of GO and cementitious contents in the soil sample by detecting the vibration modes of respective components. Given the evolution of an arbitrary open quantum system, we formulate a general and unambiguous method to separate the internal energy change of the system into an entropy-related contribution and a part causing no entropy change, identified as heat and work, respectively. We also demonstrate that heat and work admit geometric and dynamical descriptions by developing a universal dynamical equation for the given trajectory of the system. Carbon nanotubes are widely used in the design of nanosensors and actuators. Any defect in the manufactured nanotube plays an important role in the natural frequencies of these structures. In this paper, the effect of vacancy defects on the vibration of carbon nanotubes is investigated by using an atomistic modeling technique, called the molecular structural mechanics method. Abstract
Correlations disguised in various forms underlie a host of important phenomena in classical and quantum systems, such as information and energy exchanges. The quantum mutual information and the norm of the correlation matrix are both considered as proper measures of total correlations. We demonstrate that, when applied to the same system, these two measures can actually show significantly different behavior except at least in two limiting cases: when there are no correlations and when there is maximal quantum entanglement. Natural convection in a porous enclosure in the presence of thermal dispersion is investigated. The Fourier–Galerkin (FG) spectral element method is adapted to solve the coupled equations of Darcy’s flow and heat transfer with a full velocity-dependent dispersion tensor, employing the stream function formulation. We study different phases of the one-dimensional bond-alternating spin-1/2 Heisenberg model by using the symmetry fractionalization mechanism. We employ the infinite matrix-product state representation of the ground state (through the infinite-size density matrix renormalization group algorithm) to obtain inequivalent projective representations and commutation relations of the (unbroken) symmetry groups of the model, which are used to identify the different phases. The problem of recognizing (non-)Markovianity of a quantum dynamics is revisited through analyzing quantum correlations. We argue that instantaneouslyvanishing quantum discord provides a necessary and sufficient condition for Markovianity of a quantum map. This is used to introduce a measure of non-Markovianity. This measure, however, requires demanding knowledge about the system and the environment. Rumor routing is a classic routing algorithm based on agents' random walk. This paper proposes a novel approach based on this routing algorithm. Here, we try to improve the latency and energy consumption of the traditional algorithm using propagation of query and event agents within straight lines, instead of using purely random walk paths.
