    Experimental Investigation of Spin on Rotating Body at Supersonic and Transonic Flow

    Abstract
    One of the methods for the stability of the projectile is its rotation. The rotational velocity of the body surface induces velocity to the adjacent flow, thus changing the shape of the boundary layer, and due to the change in the thickness distribution of the boundary layer, the effective aerodynamic shape of the body also changes, which causes a force perpendicular to the angle of attack.This effect is called the Magnus effect. Since the force created by the rotation is an undamped force, the possibility of dynamic instability is very likely.     Abstract
    The molecular behavior of some pyridine derivatives as corrosion inhibitors of iron and aluminum in acid media, were studied quantum electrochemically. The calculations were made for three conditions; isolated inhibitor molecule, metal cluster, and finally polarized continuum media. It is concluded that for aluminum the vertical adsorption through nitrogen atom is prevailing, while for iron both vertical and planar adsorptions (through π electrons of aromatic ring) are possible, but the vertical is predominant. The inhibitor chemical potential (μ) and the extent of charge transfer (ΔN) to the metal were determined. A linear correlation between each of these and the inhibition efficiencies...

    Abstract
    There is an ever increasing trend to apply AdS/CFT to explain physical phenomena and this endeavor has recently begun concerning Superconductivity. Using black holes with differing structures and gravitational content has proved to be uitful in this explanation. In this thesis we try to explain superconductivity for a charged ro-tating black hole with Kerr-Newman-Ads metric in four dimensions. Having calcu-lated condensation for a rotating black hole we obtained diagrams of phase transition in superconductivity with respect to temperature.     Abstract
    Experimental and numerical methods were used to investigate the Magnus phenomena over a spinning projectile. The pressure force acting on the surface of a spinning projectile was measured for various cases by employing a relatively novel experimental technique. A set of miniature pressure sensors along with a data acquisition board, battery and storage memory were placed inside a spinning model and the surface pressure were obtained through a remotely controlled system.     Molecular dynamics simulations are carried out to investigate the manipulation of metallic clusters on double-layer surfaces. The system parts are made of transition metals. The conditions which are subjected to change in the tests are material combinations for cluster, main substrate and lubricant layer (adlayer). In addition to qualitative observations, two criteria which represent the particle deformation and substrate abrasion are utilized as evaluation tools and are computed for each case. Obtaining this sort of knowledge is highly beneficial for further experiments in order to be able to plan the conditions and routines, which guarantee better success in the manipulation process

    In this paper application of Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) in suspension bridge structures for the purpose of vertical vibration improvement is investigated. Functionally graded materials are inhomogeneous composites, which are usually made from a mixture of metal and ceramic. Initially the classical equation of motion is modified based on the FGM model and natural frequencies of structure are extracted by Galerkin method. The translation and cultural adaptation of the original questionnaire was carried out in accordance with published guidelines. Three hundred and fifty consecutive Persian-speaking patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were asked to complete the AIMS2-SF, the Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), and four visual analog scales (VAS) for pain, joint stiffness, and patient's and physician's global assessment to test convergent validity.     The paper investigates the effects of application of nonlocal elasticity theory on electromechanical behaviors of single-walled carbon nanotubes under electrostatic actuation. The influences of different dimensions and boundary conditions on the vibration and dynamic instability of the carbon nanotubes are studied, in detail, using this theory.
